The release of Twilight Eclipse has been a phenomenal successs and now Twilight fans across the world are eagerly awaiting the Twilight Eclipse dvd release date. It’s awesome to see it at the movies, but it’s equally fangtastic to have the Eclipse dvd at home to watch over and over and over  (pausing all the good bits of course!) The Twilight Eclipse dvd release date is so important to us Twilight fans so we can secure our copy – many deciding to pre-order their copy to avoid the mad rush and make sure they don’t miss out. 

Eclipse dvd pre-orders are likely to be available a couple of months before the Eclipse dvd release date.  And the Eclipse dvd release date?  Well, going by the first two Twilight movies, it is likely to be approximately 4 months after the movie release at a guess (end of October perhaps?) We shall have to wait for the official Eclipse dvd release date.  While we wait for the Eclipse dvd release date there is lots of cool Twilight stuff to check out……………………………………………………………………………………….

The Twilight Eclipse has been a huge success so far. With such a stellar cast of Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Dakota Fanning (and everone else – let’s face it they are all great) I doubt Twilight Eclipse will disappoint.   The love triangle between Edward, Jacob and Bella is at it’s peak in Eclipse and there are many intense emotional moments, all very well acted by the cast.

Well, of course there are no official indications yet, but we can hope there will be some bonuses similar to the last two Twilight Saga movies.  We can pretty much be sure there will be lots of Twilight Eclipse dvd 2-disc special editions, probably some commentary, un-seen footage and deleted scenes, some Eclipse music perhaps?  We will have to wait for the Eclipse dvd release date to know for sure.

The director of Twilight Eclipse, David Slade, is well known for producing movies with a bit of a ‘darker’ side and some action.   The Twilight Saga certainly seems to be becoming more action filled and almost fitting into the ’horror’ genre as it becomes darker with each installment of the series.  It will be interesting to see what awaits us in Breaking Dawn and what director will be chosen.
