The gap between Twilight Saga: Eclipse and Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn is longer than it was between Twilight and Eclipse, but I’m sure it will be worth the wait to Twilight fans.  The extended time frame (though it is still not really considered an excessive time between movie sequels), is perhaps due to the fact that Breaking Dawn will be released as two movies, not one.  This would probably be required as more production time will be needed in splitting it into two movies. 

It will of course contain the same stellar actors for the main characters – Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner).  I know, I know, I can hear fans across the country saying they can’t wait that long for the Breaking Dawn release date, but it’s nearly only 12 months away now and I’m sure it will be worth the wait.

The release of Twilight Eclipse has been a phenomenal successs and now Twilight fans across the world are eagerly awaiting the Twilight Eclipse dvd release date. It’s awesome to see it at the movies, but it’s equally fangtastic to have the Eclipse dvd at home to watch over and over and over  (pausing all the good bits of course!) The Twilight Eclipse dvd release date is so important to us Twilight fans so we can secure our copy – many deciding to pre-order their copy to avoid the mad rush and make sure they don’t miss out. 

Eclipse dvd pre-orders are likely to be available a couple of months before the Eclipse dvd release date.  And the Eclipse dvd release date?  Well, going by the first two Twilight movies, it is likely to be approximately 4 months after the movie release at a guess (end of October perhaps?) We shall have to wait for the official Eclipse dvd release date.  While we wait for the Eclipse dvd release date there is lots of cool Twilight stuff to check out……………………………………………………………………………………….

The Twilight Eclipse has been a huge success so far. With such a stellar cast of Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Dakota Fanning (and everone else – let’s face it they are all great) I doubt Twilight Eclipse will disappoint.   The love triangle between Edward, Jacob and Bella is at it’s peak in Eclipse and there are many intense emotional moments, all very well acted by the cast.

Well, of course there are no official indications yet, but we can hope there will be some bonuses similar to the last two Twilight Saga movies.  We can pretty much be sure there will be lots of Twilight Eclipse dvd 2-disc special editions, probably some commentary, un-seen footage and deleted scenes, some Eclipse music perhaps?  We will have to wait for the Eclipse dvd release date to know for sure.

The director of Twilight Eclipse, David Slade, is well known for producing movies with a bit of a ‘darker’ side and some action.   The Twilight Saga certainly seems to be becoming more action filled and almost fitting into the ’horror’ genre as it becomes darker with each installment of the series.  It will be interesting to see what awaits us in Breaking Dawn and what director will be chosen.

The common nickname that people know him by is R-patz. He was born on the 13th of May in 1986 in London. Not many people know but his middle name is Thomas and he stands about 6 feet tall. So ladies, you are in luck this gorgeous man has a nice accent to go along with those good looks! His smile helps a bit too, very mysterious!

His first job was at the age of 12 doing modeling. At that time his mother worked for a modeling agency. After a few years his modeling career went to a halt which he blames this on him growing up to be too much of a manly figure. That modeling agency must be kicking themselves now!

When he started acting he was at a young age of 15 and did a few plays at that time. Then in 2003 is when he got a fairly large role in the Harry Potter movie. But nothing has been as popular as the vampire series! Did you know that he beat out 3000 other hopefuls for the role of Edward Cullen?

How many of you ladies dream of him playing a piano for you? That is one of his many hidden talents. He even wrote a version of Bella’s Lullaby. His other hidden talent is that he can play the guitar too!

According to many polls and magazines Robert Pattinson is one of the most gorgeous men in this current time. How many other men can be this popular with the ladies of all ages? Is it the fact that he plays a modern day Romeo for all those romantics or perhaps just his good looks? Can you decide?

Twilight Saga fans are now anxiously awaiting the Eclipse dvd release. With the release of Eclipse, Bella’s engagement ring will be even more popular.

Whilst no official date has been set for the Eclipse Dvd release date, or for pre-orders, we can be fairly certain it will follow the same pattern as Twilight and New Moon.

Both Twilight and New Moon released their Dvd’s 4 months after they were released in the theaters. So, it is highly likely that the Eclipse Dvd release date could also be 4 months after June 30th. That would make it around the end of October.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the previous Twilight Dvd releases have been on a Saturday to accomodate weekend ‘dvd release’ parties to celebrate the dvd’s being available. These have become quite the event, with guest appearances from some of the cast, and are very popular with fans. Bearing this in mind, it is also possible they will do the same sort of thing for the Eclipse dvd release date; perhaps making it on a Saturday again in order to have the dvd release parties on the weekend.

Eclipse is the movie that has even more action and drama, so it will hopefully appeal to the guys as well as the girls. With the release of Eclipse, just around the corner there is lots of new Twilight merchandise to choose from.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse release date is set for June 30th, 2010.

The Twilight Saga:Eclipse will be directed by David Slade. Screenplay is by Melissa Rosenberg. And, of course, it is based on the novel ‘Eclipse’ by Stephenie Meyer.

In Eclipse Bella Swan is back with the love of her life (and vampire), Edward Cullen. Her life is just the way it was before the Cullens’ moved, except for one thing. Prior to Edward leaving, Bella had not thought of Jacob Black her (werewolf) best friend, and she is desperately trying to make Jacob and Edward get along and be friends. She is now torn between Edward, whom she loves and Jacob, who she has a strong friendship with. Will Bella be able to get Edward and Jacob to live harmoniously and not hurt her? There are also dangers around and Seattle is tormented by murders that don’t make sense. Who or what is behind these murders and what does it have to do with Bella? We’ll just have to wait for the Eclipse release date to find out!

New Moon Premiere Robert Pattinson

Robert Pattinson was quite chatty at the “New Moon” premiere, happily signing autographs, taking his time on the red carpet.

Robert says about New Moon “It seems a bit bigger… ten times bigger,”… “But it’s so nice knowing that the movie can live up to the hype.”

Robert is self-composed, charming and calm considering the huge change in his lifestyle since his phenomenal rise to fame. “I’m surprisingly calm” he said at the premier.

“I’m so happy I have something to tell my grandkids.. when I’m an old man …this is what it was like when I was actually big” Rob Pattinson said smiling. Robert says about the movie again, “it’s good, it’s really good”.

Well, that’s very reassuring coming from one of the actors themselves. Can’t wait to see it!!!

Hey Twilight fans!! Here’s some great news. The New Moon Dvd Release date at this stage is approximately late March, 2010.  And we would expect it to be available for pre order soon.  A good way to go if you want to secure your copy. If the release date remains the same (sometimes it changes), the New Moon Dvd will be out about the same time that the Twilight Dvd was.  (We have even heard rumours on Yahoo that it might be out in February, not March; though March seems more likely at this stage)

It is being released by Ingram Entertainment; and, like Twilight will be available as either the normal Dvd or the Special Edition Dvd. The Special Edition Dvd, according to Director Chris Weitz, has a good ten minutes of never-seen-before footage included in the release that is not in the theatrical version. It also contains interviews with the cast, cast commentaries and behind the scenes footage.
